  I have rented from Rent-A-Center for years and never ever had an issue until this year. First I rented a washer and dryer it didn't work when they got it here so I called they came and got it and then turned around and put the exact same one they picked up back in my house claiming "It's brand new we just unpacked it this morning". I called them on it and they denied saying it so I just turned it back in. Then I rented a laptop I loved it I was very happy with it. But the charger went out on it so they offered to bring it in and have it fixed. I was glad and grateful that they would do this. But when I got it back it wasn't fixed at all and it had dings dents and scratches all over it and tried to get me to pay for it telling me I was the one who caused the damage! A month later I "didn't pay" my bill even though I had receipts to prove it their computer magically said I had not paid in 2 months. So they came and took the computer back. I will no longer do business at the RAC in hazard ky

  Two times I've dealt with this god awful place and both times sucked. I first got a bed that the manager assured me was every single piece, "ready to lay on" when they delivered it. Well apparently he meant lay on the frame because it didn't include the mattress when they delivered it. I hadn't dealt with them in years since but I recently moved and needed a washer and dryer in sort of a hurry, so I decide to give them another try. I wasted two entire days of moving sitting here waiting on them and them promising they'll be here for them to show up with a broken dryer and I hate to wait another couple days for them to bring the other. Which by the way was a loaner. I had some issues with the loaner, it never turned itself off, even at the end of its drying cycle it just kept going. So I called them and they said they would bring me a new loaner the next day...never showed. So I called again and they said they had my dryer back from the shop and would bring it the next day...didn't hear from them for a week so I called and they made yet another appointment to bring it yesterday but guess what...yeah I never heard from them. So moral of the story guys...go to Irent
